What Is Invisalign Express?
Our practice offers fast, effective treatment with Invisalign Express.
All Invisalign treatments use precisely designed clear aligners to apply gentle pressure to teeth, gradually shifting them into their proper positions. Invisalign Express differs from traditional Invisalign in that it is intended specifically to correct minor misalignment on an expedited timeline. It uses fewer sets of aligners, so patients with minor alignment issues can achieve straight smiles in six months or less.
What Concerns Can Invisalign Treat?
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment for patients with mild to moderate misalignment. Invisalign may be a viable alternative to braces if you wish to correct moderate cases of these dental concerns:
Gapped Teeth
Gaps can make chewing and speaking more difficult, but Invisalign aligners can close these gaps to improve function.
Open Bite
If there's space in your bite from your arches not aligning properly, you might have an open bite that can benefit from treatment.
Crowded Teeth
Crowded teeth don't just affect the appearance of your smile; they can make flossing and brushing more difficult, interfering with your oral health.
Underbite
Underbite
Overbite
If your top teeth push past your bottom teeth, Invisalign can help align your smile for better overall function and appearance.
Why Straighten Your Teeth?

Optimal Function
The way your teeth fit together has a major impact on the function of your jaw muscles. Patients with crooked teeth are more prone to TMJ-related issues like jaw pain or chronic headaches. By correcting your bite, you can ensure that your jaw muscles move naturally.

Better Smile
Everyone understands the cosmetic benefits of orthodontics. With a straighter smile, you'll love what you see in the mirror and feel more confident in both your personal life and your professional life.

Healthier Teeth
Straight teeth are easier to clean than crooked teeth. You'll be able to remove plaque and bacteria from between the teeth more easily, reducing your risk of dental decay, gum disease, and tooth loss.
A Better Orthodontic Treatment
Discreet
The clear aligners of the Invisalign system are hardly visible to those around you. While you're wearing the aligners, you'll be able to smile for pictures, attend video meetings, and speak in public without any embarrassment.
Comfortable
Invisalign aligners are made of smooth plastic, and they are custom-designed to fit perfectly over your teeth. While traditional braces can scratch and poke your cheeks and lips, clear aligners are comfortable to wear.
Removable
For many patients, the greatest benefit of clear aligners is that you take them out when you eat, drink, brush, or floss. You can continue to eat all of your favorite foods, and you don't have to learn new dental hygiene habits.

How Popular Is Invisalign?
Do I Need to See An Orthodontist?
Patients with extreme cases of dental misalignment may benefit from seeing an orthodontist to discuss if braces can help their smile. However, if you have mild to moderate misalignment, our dentists are absolutely capable of providing an Invisalign treatment plan.
Our dentists serving Greater Lake Charles have helped numerous patients improve their smiles through the Invisalign treatment process without involving an orthodontist. When it comes to Invisalign, we use the same tools and skills as an orthodontist. That makes our practice ideal if you want a one-stop shop for virtually all of your dental needs.

Invisalign Can Save You Money
In the Long Run
Spending up to $6,000 on straightening your teeth can sound daunting, even with the help of our affordable orthodontic financing. But the truth is, investing in your smile can often save you significant amounts in the long run.
This is because a straighter smile is significantly easier to clean and maintain. Keeping your mouth as healthy as possible can avoid further issues that may require more costly interventions later.
Let’s get more specific. Crooked teeth can make it harder to properly brush and floss, meaning missed spots where plaque can hide. This in turn may lead to tooth decay and gum disease, which can cause you to lose teeth and eventually have to pay for mouth-saving dental implants that can cost thousands each.

Maintain Your Beautiful New Results
By Wearing a Retainer After Your Invisalign Treatment

You will likely need to wear a retainer after your treatment. It will keep your teeth from shifting, so that you can continue to enjoy your stunning new smile.
Generally speaking, you will have to wear your retainer each night.
Just remember: you are already doing the hardest part by wearing your Invisalign Express aligners 22 hours a day.
Retainers need to be worn less, and since they aren’t actively repositioning your teeth, they are generally more comfortable.
You likely won’t even be aware that you’re wearing your retainer either, since you can easily put it on before bedtime.
Don't Forget To Clean Your Aligners Properly
You should rinse, brush, and dry your aligners regularly to keep them clean and prevent stains. Using a toothbrush and soap, you can also clear them of buildup. Remember not to use hot water, as this can warp aligners. Our dentists can review aligner care during your visit at our Lake Charles, Carlyss, or Moss Bluff, LA, offices.
Invisalign FAQs

Does Invisalign Express work as well as braces?
For minor cases of misalignment, Invisalign Express is just as effective as traditional braces. Severely crooked teeth may require braces or other orthodontic solutions. At your initial consultation, our doctors will honestly recommend whether Invisalign Express or another solution will work better for you.

Are clear aligners uncomfortable?
Patients agree that clear aligners are far more comfortable than braces. At the beginning of your treatment, it may take a few days to get used to wearing the aligners, and you may speak with a slight lisp during this time. However, you should adjust to wearing aligners fairly quickly. It's normal to feel some tightness on the teeth after switching to a new set of aligners, but that will subside after a few days.

How often will I have to visit the dentist during my treatment?
Generally, we will welcome you to our office every four to six weeks during your orthodontic treatment. This will let us ensure that your teeth are responding well. It also gives our dentists an opportunity to answer any of your questions, giving you peace of mind and consistent care throughout your treatment.

Am I just too old to straighten my teeth?
Absolutely not. While orthodontics treatments are often associated with children and teens, you should know that there is no maximum age limit for for receiving Invisalign. This treatment is especially ideal for adults who do not want anyone to know they are fixing their teeth, since Invisalign aligners are virtually invisible, making them incredibly discreet.

Went in today to get assessments on work I needed done and to set up and plan to get everything taken care! I suffer from severe generalized anxiety and the... Read More dentist makes that 10x worse. Well not at this office. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a dentist office in my life. The receptionists and girls behind the desk were welcoming and some of the friendliest people you can find. With nerves still running high I was then introduced to my dental assistant and while I’m terrible with remembering names she truly was fantastic at lessening the anxiousness and not making me feel terrible for the way my teeth look. Then comes Dr. Price. Truly the first dentist I’ve ever found that put me at peace with being there and needing work done. I’ve always had previous dentists and assistants lecture me and make me feel worse than I already did about the condition of my mouth and teeth. Not the case with Dr. Price. Hands down the best dentist I’ve had and that’s before I’ve had a second of work done. His detailed explanation of things and complete honesty was such a blessing for me because I didn’t feel an ounce of embarrassment like I normally would. Felt like I was talking to a friend that I’ve known for years. And there was not an instance where I felt like they were trying to upcharge or upsell things that really weren’t necessary being that we are getting everything taken care of on time. Weird to say but after my visit today I’m actually excited to get back in there and get myself taken care of finally! Truly an amazing staff from top to bottom!
