The Benefits of Dental Implants

Prevents Bone Loss and Gum Recession
Without tooth roots to stimulate it, the jawbone loses density and the gums can recede. Dental implants are placed in the jawbone to act as tooth roots. The titanium fuses with the bone structure over time, in a process known as osseointegration. The implants can then stimulate the jaw, preventing bone and gum deterioration from occurring.

Excellent Stability for Restorations
A removable denture could slip out of place while eating or speaking, even with strong dental adhesives. With the implants and restoration completed, patients will have a restored smile that looks just like natural teeth. The restoration remains securely fixed in place while biting, chewing, and speaking.

Prices and Financing
Implants are not usually covered by insurance, but we will help to maximize coverage for your crown, bridge, or denture. We also accept CareCredit® financing to break up out-of-pocket costs so our patients can afford implants on nearly any budget.
Sedation Dentistry
Many people suffer from anxiety when undergoing dental treatments. To minimize any fear you associate with dental care, we offer nitrous oxide and mild oral sedation. These techniques help you achieve a relaxed state while we work on your smile.

Went in today to get assessments on work I needed done and to set up and plan to get everything taken care! I suffer from severe generalized anxiety and the... Read More dentist makes that 10x worse. Well not at this office. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a dentist office in my life. The receptionists and girls behind the desk were welcoming and some of the friendliest people you can find. With nerves still running high I was then introduced to my dental assistant and while I’m terrible with remembering names she truly was fantastic at lessening the anxiousness and not making me feel terrible for the way my teeth look. Then comes Dr. Price. Truly the first dentist I’ve ever found that put me at peace with being there and needing work done. I’ve always had previous dentists and assistants lecture me and make me feel worse than I already did about the condition of my mouth and teeth. Not the case with Dr. Price. Hands down the best dentist I’ve had and that’s before I’ve had a second of work done. His detailed explanation of things and complete honesty was such a blessing for me because I didn’t feel an ounce of embarrassment like I normally would. Felt like I was talking to a friend that I’ve known for years. And there was not an instance where I felt like they were trying to upcharge or upsell things that really weren’t necessary being that we are getting everything taken care of on time. Weird to say but after my visit today I’m actually excited to get back in there and get myself taken care of finally! Truly an amazing staff from top to bottom!

Lake Charles Dentistry Can Make Smile Dreams Come True
Imagine if you could laugh, smile, and talk with people without feeling self-conscious about gaps caused by missing teeth. The Dental Implant Procedure
We partner with trusted specialists for complete and streamlined implant care.

The Average Cost of Dental Implants
The average cost of a dental implant, abutment, and a single tooth replacement in the United States is about $3,000 to $4,500.
Our Lake Charles dentists have noticed that the cost of surgery and the restoration combined typically ends up costing around $4,000, though there are cases that could be higher or lower.
Preparing for the Sedation Process
Of Dental Implants?

Number of Implants
The cost of your treatment will depend heavily on the number of implants you'll require. One implant, abutment, and crown typically cost about $4,000, but a full set of teeth will be significantly more expensive.

Implant Location
A missing tooth at the front of the mouth can be more difficult to replace. Additionally, the restoration may require more work to ensure it blends in with the surrounding teeth, raising its cost.

Preparatory Procedures
Bone grafts and sinus lifts are occasionally necessary prior to dental implant placement to ensure there is enough bone to support the implants. Tooth extraction may also be necessary to prepare for implant placement. If you require preparatory treatment, this will increase your overall cost.
The Unique Benefits of Dental Implants
- The implant itself can last for the rest of your life if cared for properly
- Implants are the only kind of dental work that can prevent jawbone atrophy
- The titanium screw fuses with your jawbone for a secure fit
- Implants can support restorations that blend in with your natural teeth
- Implants can prevent surrounding teeth from moving out of place, causing misalignment

Paying for Dental Implants
While the crowns, bridge, and dentures supported by implants are typically covered at least in part by health insurance, the implants themselves usually are not. However, our dental offices in the Lake Charles area offer financing options through CareCredit®. This healthcare financing company allows patients to pay for dental work in affordable monthly installments so treatment can easily fit into their budget. See if you are eligible for their no- or low-interest financing plans today:
